Do South Magazine: Crusading Cousins

At times, it seems nearly impossible to accurately convey just how passionate we are about our mission and vision of an America where no man, woman, or child goes hungry. Aside from my roles as a wife and mother, there is nothing I care more deeply about than helping my fellow Americans who are experiencing food insecurity. I know that my cousin and co-founder, Brittany Hodak, who is one of the most generous people I have ever known, is equally committed to helping those struggling with hunger. It is truly a privilege for us to be able to serve our communities as we feel we were called to do.

The article, Crusading Cousins, written by Marla Cantrell and featured in the May issue of Do South Magazine captures the sentiment of mine and Brittany's relationship as cousins, as well as our journey together as business partners. We are dedicated to reaching our goal of providing 10 million meals in 2016 for the 1 in 7 Americans in need.

I love this article! It gives our supporters a glimpse of the road we've traveled this past year and where we're headed in the years to come. If you haven't had the chance to check out our organization and learn about how hunger is affecting over 48 million Americans in every community nationwide, you should definitely read this article.

Thank you, Marla and Do South Magazine, for doing an amazing job highlighting the journey we are on!
